"The hotel is wonderfully presented, it is clean both inside and out, the rooms, foyer, reception area, bar and restaurant are all impeccable. It is right on the seafront so you get a brilliant view from most areas, the hotel are able to provide a permit for reduced cost parking opposite the hotel which is great, I'm glad we didn't do it on the app in advance as it would have cost us more - it would be good for this information to be more easily available. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful, the bar was reasonably priced for drinks, my only disappointment was one male member of staff on arrival who was a little rude when I queried about rooms not being close to each other when I both rooms were on the same booking, he responded with "well you booked with a different website so how are we meant to know?" However the lady who we were actually dealing with on check in was wonderful and all other staff were very friendly and helpful."

"From the moment I arrived with my 17 month old granddaughter in tow, the staff were fantastic. Very helpful right up until we left the following morning. Room was comfortable and had what we needed. Liked the dj in the bar whilst waiting for food! Location was good. Highly recommend for the attentive staff. "

"The drainage in the bathroom was poor and soon built up in the tray.. the sink held water too. We upgaded room to club sea deluxe and i wont again as not sure it was worth it."

"It is a nice old seafront hotel that we have visited many times before and find to be a comfortable place to stay. Very close convenient for seafront strolls and local shopping. It has undergone many improvements and updates in recent years while retaining the charm of and old seaside hotel. Staff service and catering was excellent on this visit"
