Greer Pershing Cabin in the Meadow

Our cabin is a warm country hug with super awesome internet. This country charmer at 2300 square feet has farm-style touches and comfy furnishings in every room with modern amenities. Airy and light with a cozy family vibe. Relax on two decks over meadows with mountains beyond. There are no neighbors close to you during your stay. Kiddos can play in open areas and explore the great outdoors away from the city`s hustle-n-bustle. Welcome home and we hope you enjoy the cabin as much as we do.

Our family cabin has some awesome brag points...a beautiful custom built fireplace in the living room for extra ambiance and a whirlpool bathtub in the upstairs bathroom for quiet soaking with bath essentials to name a few. There is plenty of space for the family to spread out and enjoy peace and quiet or fun time. In addition to the four bedrooms there is a large open area to accommodate extra sleepers. Both bathrooms are spacious, clean and private. We have DVDs, kids` games and toys and tons of books for a quick grab and some check out time.

If you want a movie night, there are 3 televisions with Direct TV, DVR and a DVD player. WIFI is also available. The kitchen is fully equipped with all dinnerware, glassware, cooking and baking utensils. We have a lovely family dining table to gather around for games and home-cooked meals. You`ll have the added convenience of a laundry room with full-size washer and dryer. We supply laundry basics such as detergent and dryer sheets. Also provide are convenience items such as tiny shower toiletries, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, trash liners, kitchen sponges and a few basic pantry items.

As a guest, you have the cabin to yourself and are welcome to enjoy the entire property with your family. There are parking spaces right outside of the cabin for easy access.

The cabin is just a short walk from the Little Colorado River where you can hike and explore along the banks of the Little Colorado River which runs year-round. If you enjoy fishing, Tunnel, River and Bunch Reservoirs are a 5 minute drive from the cabin. There are plenty of places to access the river that meanders through the Greer Village. We provide a booklet called `Hit the Trails` with 36 popular local hiking areas, trail information and lots of photos.

Bicycles and E-bikes, side by sides, horses and hiking shoes are great ways to explore Greer and the surrounding areas. Weather may be inclement in the Winter months so please prepare accordingly. We keep the entry road and driveway clear of snow in the Winter but there are times when tire chains, 4x4 or AWD may be necessary.

You will enjoy 360 degree views of nature at the cabin. Greer is full of wonderful natural surprises. You may spot deer, elk, turkey, fox, coyote, owl, bald eagles, osprey, Rocky Mountain sheep, beavers and so many other White Mountain inhabitants. Make sure to keep the binoculars and cameras handy! Always pay attention to Mother Nature. We are happy to offer advice on weather conditions and forecasts prior to your stay. HOWEVER, we do strongly recommend that you check your weather apps and AZ511 before heading to the high country. Greer`s Zip Code is 85927 for reference. This property does have Wi-Fi services but may be limited due to the cabin`s rural location in the mountains and can be impacted by the weather.
