"I would give Carson Inn 3 stars. Overall, the hotel wasn’t anything to write home about, but it did what we needed it to do. The room itself was clean and appeared to be well maintained. My biggest issue was that I accidentally booked a smoking room through Expedia. I completely take responsibility for not catching it during the booking process, which is why I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1. However, I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels over the years, and this is the first time I’ve ever accidentally...

"Location was key for visiting downtown and the state capitol along with close to the freeway. The room was very spacious with a medium sized personal fridge and microwave. We enjoyed the beds, pillows and linens. The bathroom products were good quality as well. Space was clean, it was a non smoking room...however a slight smoke smell lingered and was noticeable the more time spent in the room. We enjoyed the breakfast at the grille. Spent time at the pool with tables, umbrellas and many places...

"It was a cute room and it was clean. But it’s not very well lit outside if you wanted to go to the casino at night. Also, there is no on-site gift shop and no on-site food at all! So it was a problem that I forgot my toothbrush and I was hungry. There’s no refrigerator in the room either so you can’t keep food there. It’s good if you don’t wanna spend a lot of time in your room and you’re not looking for food close by."

"Nice place. Very small rooms. Nice people. Easy walk to downtown. Comfortable. I will stay here again for sure. Price is nice."
