"Excellent location for Ipswich Town centre and the marina, no problem parking in the car park. The room was clean and comfortable with good facilities, bath, shower TV, tea and coffee etc. Breakfast was a buffet with a reasonable selection of hot and cold options."

"We have always found our stays at the hotel to be good ones. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, parking plentiful and breakfast offers a good choice of food. The hotel is a busy one and there are signs of wear and tear and so would benefit from a makeover, but that does not take away from it being a hotel well worth booking a stay at. We do recommend this hotel to people."

"Even though there are positives in that this hotel is located in a quiet area and has ample parking I do not know how it is rated a 4 star. The decor is from the 70’s and needs a serious update. Even though the website says there is a fan in the room I had to go down to reception and ask for one. The carpets need replacing and there is no ramp into the reception area so you have to carry any luggage up and down stairs. No fridge in the room either. The wi-if was so bad I couldn’t have a 5 minute conversation without the signal being dropped 3 times. I did not use the pool/gym facilities or eat in the restaurant. I would not stay here again."
