"The bed and breakfast was a lovely older home with period furnishings. Lots of rooms and "destinations" inside the house to enjoy as well as lovely sitting area outside by the river. We had a picnic dinner with wine on the big covered deck in the rain. Very nicely situated, walking distance from the shops downtown and marina. Lots of lovely big old houses to peek at in the neighborhood. Our hosts were very attentive. Breakfast was wonderful as Geoff is a chef - did a gluten free big...

"For a comfort inn, it was perfectly located for our purpose. Extremely clean, friendly staff and a great pool and sauna. Only thing I would say is in 2026 there should be at least 2 USB charging ports in every room. Change out a wall outlet or something. Every other hotel we've stayed in over the past 5+ years have done. Otherwise great stay!"

"Very small room with no extra seating. Old bathroom and very small. Curtains were in shreds and filthy. It was a sore excuse for breakfast with no seating just in the small lobby. Outside stairs were totally unkempt. Very disappointed especially since it was a premium rate."

"It’s an older building, not well maintained. Room is good size, run down but ok for one night stay, just not for the price we paid $260. Too expensive for what you get, plus breakfast was horrible. I will not recommend this hotel."

"This is a wonderful bred and breakfast. Away from the hustle and bustle from town but conveniently located. The room was clean and spacious and has a nice view of the water. Instead of eating out in restaurants every day we made use of their BBQ on the large terrace and the owners happily provided plates and cutlery for us to use. The breakfast had plenty to choose from and the owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again."
