"I was completely surprised when I saw this motel…nothing like the pictures. The room was nice except they put us on the first floor next to a big group. That big group was inside & outside blaring music & singing karaoke and yelling all night! The next morning the front desk said they think it was some workers that are staying there…why would you put guests next to a group of rowdy workers?! Breakfast was pitiful..hardly anywhere to sit and no eggs left. Had a bagel. Hardly worth the $160+ I paid!"

"My husband and I arrived early and were able to check in with no problem. The options for parking were clearly explained. We chose the municipal garage, as it is directly across the street. The room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. All staff, and especially Terry at the bar, were fabulous. Checkout was easy. We feel that the price for the location and service is a good value. We will return to this hotel when we stay in Portsmouth."

"Some youth sports team was there during our stay. They were obnoxiously loud for HOURS. I called numerous times and nothing was dealt with because the pool would be closing at 10. My first call was 8:30 - and that was after listening for a couple hours. Why should I have to put up with that until 10pm?? I called back after 10 because they then went around and knocked on all the doors. Again, this was not dealt with. Completely unacceptable!! I stay at this hotel quite frequently and I know this isn’t the norm, but I will NOT put up with it again. "
