De Vere Tortworth Court

"The hotel is beautiful, lovely places to have drinks and eat, the garden were beautiful in the morning and it was pleasant to sit outside on an autumn morning... most staff very helpful and willing. Areas requiring improvement: it was a busy evening and the main restaurant was booked out, then again at breakfast it was full, we got informed we could sit in the connecting library (which didn't have proper tables for eating) or the atrium so twice on our stay we didn't get to eat in the main restaurant. We paid for a suite and it didn't have water in the rooms, on asking I got told about water filters on each floor which is great environmentally but actually having had no bottles provided in the room for obtaining water just made the concept a bit useless! Also on asking for potentially an extra half hour in the morning I got told I could if I paid more money yet I had purchased a suite and actually this should be a perk occasionally especially if you have young children. A few niggles that take away from what could be a great hotel get away."

"Great two lights stay,family of 3 and a 4 month old puppy. Staff were amazing and constantly checking we had everything we needed. All the staff at hotel were so super friendly and very very helpful. Great location too. Would definitely stay again."

"Very clean room, very comfortable bed. Bathroom is lovely and shower is great. Hallways are a little dated decor wise but apart from this all good. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Over night car park charge of £16. Did not dine in restaurant on this occasion or use the leisure facilities as we’re visiting friends. Would happily stay again."

"excellent weekend retreat for my anniversary with my wife. Made even more special by the hotels Personal touches. Like an anniversary pudding with our evening meal. Spa facilities were great. Room was comfy and clean. All staff were very attentive. Great place to stay and a great location."

"We recently stayed at Delta Hotels by Marriott St. Pierre Country Club and had a mixed experience overall. The location was lovely, and we particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. Breakfast was also a highlight and a great way to start the day. The staff were excellent throughout our stay, and we appreciated their apologies when issues arose. Unfortunately, there were a couple of disappointments. We requested for our room to be cleaned, but this wasn’t done, which was frustrating. At breakfast, the hotel had also run out of dairy alternatives, which was disappointing for guests who rely on these options. Although the staff apologised, these issues did take away from what could otherwise have been a more enjoyable stay. Overall, we enjoyed the location, leisure facilities and breakfast, and the friendly staff were a positive aspect of our visit. However, more consistency with housekeeping and ensuring dietary alternatives are available at breakfast would have made a real difference. With a little more attention to these details, the hotel could offer a much better overall experience."
