"The convenience of being close to the event center wasn't worth the price of the stay. Double the price of other top rated Topeka hotels, rooms are clean but very outdated, wallpaper peeling off walls, bathtub old/stained. The rooms all being open to the center bar area makes it very noisy, paper thin walls, you could hear everything. The breakfast buffet was $12/person, and it had the same choices that every other hotel offers complementary. Very cool courtyard, but not worth it, wouldn't stay there again. "

"My credit card was charged despite prepaying. In reviewing the folio emailed to me after checkout, they charged taxes which were already paid and documented as such on my initial booking receipt. There were no incidentals charged to the room, just a billing error on their part. When I contacted the property to resolve the overpayment/double charge, I was told they had a new system and the issue would need to be escalated to the manager. There has been no contact from manager Kay to resolve the issue as promised by site staff. Mistakes happen but how you handle them is the important thing. The hotel was conveniently located. The room had a nice setup for work/relaxation that fit our needs. We thought that we had found a new home base as we frequently travel to the area but now I don't trust them. They definitely dropped the ball."

"I tried to adjust my stay by one night and the owner DENIED my request although I was clearly within the dates of being able to do so. This was my third stay at this home with my family and was very disappointing. Definitely put a sour spin on this rental home. Also, this home does not contain even one blow dryer which seems to be a standard elsewhere. "
