Head into Fishguard (2 miles) to drink a coffee by the harbour and then set off along the magnificent Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Afterwards, pop into the town hall and take a look at the tapestry that marks the 1797 French invasion – it took four years to complete. Alternatively, grab your surf board and make a beeline for Newport Sands (11.5 miles) to catch some waves. Or head to the National Trust’s Blue Lagoon in Abereiddi (13.5 miles), where striking aqua-blue waters fill the old slate quarry – it’s a gorgeous place to go coasteering.


Step inside and follow the hallway to the large, bright and cheerful living room. Make yourself at home and take a moment to admire the cosy, traditional decor and the sleek and stylish wood burner. Cook up a storm in the light and bright kitchen area and then get everyone together to share a sociable dinner at the stylish table by the window. Afterwards, treat yourself to a chilled glass of wine in the sun room. A downstairs WC completes the ground floor. At the end of the day, head upstairs and you’ll find two stylish bedrooms – a king-size and a twin. Completing the layout is a handy family bathroom with a bath and a shower.


Go outside and you’ll find a large patio, thoughtfully arranged with comfortable garden furniture and a BBQ - perfect for relaxing afternoons or al fresco diners. There are also 7 acres of shared grounds to explore. This property has private parking for two cars.
