Had a lovely stay at The Globe while in Topsham for the evening. The room was lovely and cosy, and although we didn't eat in the pub we did have a couple of drinks and it was a very nice lively place. Would stay again.
Great location with comfortable rooms. When you book they warn that there are no quiet rooms and they are correct. Our room above the bar was very loud, but once the bar closed at 11:30 it was quiet and we got a good nights sleep. A great place to stay in Topsham
Spacious rooms, amazing huge bed with super comfortable pillows, big hot powerful shower, lovely pub which served excellent food and good wine at decent prices. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.
The Globe is in a great location in the center of the town of Topsham. Everything is walkable, coastal walks, shops and restaurants. The Hotel was clean, friendly and the food was good. It was great value for money.
Wonderful stay at The Globe, Topsham. Stayed for nights and visited Exeter for a day of Xmas shopping. Accommodation was perfect. Comfy beds, tea/coffee facilities, very clean and modern. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Topsham/area
We stayed here for one night to meet up with local friends. From the moment we arrived the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful.
Our room was ready early, and was bigger than expected from the room description. We don’t usually like double beds, as prefer more room, but it was comfy and we slept well.
Breakfast was delicious. When we did have an issue (not the pubs fault) with the app ordering at our table, they resolved it quickly and satisfactorily.
Dog friendly, which is great.
Will definitely stay here again.
Very nice find, beer garden was noisy if you want an early night but shuts down around 11pm so that was fine for me.
Great food and craft beer in the pub itself
Lovely village with some nice pubs, tap house and lovely shops well worth a visit
I will stay here again when next in Exeter

Liked: Staff & service
staff very friendly and good location.
Room in need of decoration and our dinner not good
A lovely, clean and tidy room at the back of
The Globe courtyard, with a warm and comfortable look and furniture. We found The Globe easily and enjoyed our stay.
From check in to check out all was brilliant. Staff helpful and friendly particularly Alison and Joanne. Thank you so much. They made a sad weekend better.
The staff were helpful, they carried my small case up the stairs for me, called a taxi when I left
The room was lovely, very spacious, the bed was very comfortable
A beautiful old fashioned pub in the village of Topsham which is stylishly furnished with a blend of old and new. The downside was our room was above the main bar and very noisy . Also no parking and no facility to purchase a ticket for the car park in advance resulting in having to wake up early to go on the app ! The food in the restaurant was fabulous!
Really pleased to have stayed here when on an overnight trip to Exeter. Had a lovely dinner in the evening in the restaurant. It was busy with all the Christmas groups but had a really good atmosphere and we were served quickly even though busy.
The room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. Slept really well. It was nice being just outside Exeter and had a wander around small town and along the quayside before leaving. Would definitely stay again, with the friendly team looking after us. Only point is I think we were quite lucky to get last parking spot in the evening at the quayside carpark as town was very busy. Might have been difficult otherwise, and further way to walk.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Decent stay with a few improvements needed
Decent stay with a lovely styled, well equipped, very comfy room.
Few key downsides to note… Ground floor room facing beer garden meant room was in full view & was very noisy until very late. This was expected as we often enjoy pub stays but door to room off the beer garden appeared to be an “internal” door with no insulation/sound dampening like a proper external door which meant it was like they were in the room with us. Water damage around the door suggests this is a long standing issue.
Shower head was clogged with grime but a quick wipe when on full blast fixed it - minor point for the cleaning team as overall the room was very clean & in great order.
