"Room very spacious and really comfortable bed and pillows, clean and my only pick there, no sockets by the bed.
Breakfast was great but cold. Buffet style. Dinner exceptional husband had shepherds pie. Staff all lovely and helpful."

"The room we stayed in was lovely and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the food - both dinner in the restaurant and breakfast each morning! We would definitely stay again! "

"We had a lovely room overlooking the river. Everywhere in the hotel was spotless and the decor was up to date. Only slight quibble was the shower over the bath which was dated but produced hot water.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast selection was good with English breakfast cooked well.
The lounge was a lovely room to have a drin as it overlooked the river.
I would definitely recommend this independently run hotel "

"Had a brilliant stay here with my son. It was super central, the bed was very comfy and room was very clean! All you need when you’re on a sightseeing holiday. Breakfast at the hotel was great value for money too- continental plus cooked breakfast if desired, all for £12.50 . The staff were always friendly and accommodating- the receptionist was lovely giving us recommendations for food etc x "

"Fantastic hotel. Staff are really friendly. They treated our daughter to a chocolate bar for her birthday. The pantry of treats for guests is fantastic too. The rooms are lovely. The food is great. A great atmosphere. We will be back. "
