"Large car park at rear but it was a large pub. Friendly staff and clean room. Food was good and well priced which was shown by how busy it was in the restaurant. The only negative at all for this pub/hotel was that when clearing tables after diners had left the waitress used what cutlery was left on the table to make it up ready for the next diners. How did she know that the previous people didn't sneeze on it or handle it? Not nice in my opinion"

"We arrived around 4:30, the carpark was busy and the restaurant really busy - wasn’t an issue for us as we were going out. The reception is away from the hustle and bustle of the bar/ restaurant which was good. The room was big enough, but the beds are really small. "Spent a fantastic night here this past weekend, from the moment we checked in all the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming (we were even wished a good morning by the housekeeping staff we passed in the corridor as we were leaving!), the food and service in the restaurant were also both good and breakfast in the morning offered a great selection of choices. "Breakfast was not good. Only 2 pieces of bacon left and 1 hash brown. Also was never told they charge you an extra £20 for checking in before 3pm. Luckily the receptionist did have a room ready so gave it to me without charging. This is something to look out for."

Had I done this, there would have been a severe danger of it disappearing down the plughole and lost for ever (Cost £250). Staff work hard but avoid breakfast Sunday morning 9 a.m.rush hour . We waited 35 minutes for order to be taken it arrived 20 minutes after. Easy to find as 5 minutes from motorway junction.
