"I’d give The New Yorker Hotel a 6/10 overall. The location and building itself are nice, but my experience ended on a frustrating note. I was charged a smoking fee even though I have never smoked in my life. Apparently their sensor was triggered by hairspray, which set it off and resulted in the charge. Now I’m stuck dealing with disputing a fee for something that simply didn’t happen. It’s honestly been a huge pain to deal with, and situations like this make the stay feel a lot less...

"Great location near Radio City Music Hall and Central Park. Not a big fan of Resort fees especially when you feel it is not a resort. Also paid for 2 people for breakfast and the name of the business on the card did not match the vendor for breakfast but they said that is place. They were out of croissants and would not change the 2 croissants we paid for the one muffin they had so we had to pay for that.
