"This is an older property but if you like vintage you'll feel right at home. The beds are comfy. The towels are new. The carpet isnt. The grounds are lovely. The toilets are grade school small. The rooms are a testament that some guests dont know guest etiquette - that a guest should leave the room in thr same condition as they found it. Even so there is a need for some basic plant touch ups (Hire an artist! Give them some wood stain, paint and clear acrylic!) The restaurant is adequate. Ok for dinner after a long day of driving But Taos boasts great eateries. The plumbing needs some serious overhauling."

Scenic cabin in Carson National Forest

"My wife and I and two teens stayed at this spacious and clean cabin. There are two bedroom areas in the upper loft mezzanine with an upper outside deck. There are bunk beds in the basement. the main bedroom is on the ground floor off the living room. All very nice.From the large living room windows, the pine trees provided privacy and views of the distant mountains in Carson National Park.We really like the location because it allowed us to travel to the Rio Grande Riverto fish and raft, to Angel Fire, to go along highway 518 (high road) for stream fishing and then to the town center of Taos.The owners have very good taste in furniture and in artwork. Some really great pieces. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen must have been newly remodeled, with great cabinet space and countertops. The appliances were all stainless steel and new as well. We did use the washer and dryer once. All good.Outside is a L-shaped deck had plenty of seating, a dining table and a propane gas grill. We cooked our first night there grilling steaks. Excellent. Highly recommend staying here.Thanks for sharing your property."
