The accommodations were clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was a tasty selection of breads and various deli-type accompaniments. The staff were friendly and attentive. Grüner Sand met all of our expectations and we intend to stay there again during our next visit to Germany."

"I arrived last in the evening and found the doors locked. I called the reception desk and was let in. The Hotel is clean and comfortable But has no restaurant and there was no Breakfast service. In fairness this information is on the hotel web site and had I paid greater attention. I likely would not have booked a room after a 220km drive and arriving late I did not want to go looking for a restaurant and instead went into the Supermarket next door for bread and meats and cheese to eat in the...

"The hotel is located centrally, across from the Rathaus and the Münsterkirche. It's within walking distance of pretty much anything you could need. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and inviting, and the breakfast was delicious."
