"DO NOT EVER STAY HERE. My wife and I recently stayed here and due to our flights being late we missed our first night at the resort. When we arrived the second day we asked about a refund for the first night. The resort assured us we would get a refund just to call Expedia and the resort would approve a 1 night refund. We called Expedia when we arrived home and Expedia contacted the resort to get a refund issued. The resort changed the date and time we checked in to the correct date and time instead of a day late and lied to Expedia saying they didn’t know what we were talking about that we had our full stay. On top of then lying to scam us out of the buffet the resort was dirty overall the rooms were dirty and we saw several cockroaches in the buffet area and hallways. The food on the resort was so so but nothing to rave about and the resort’s location is inconvenient because it’s in the middle of nowhere. We will never be staying here again."
"Very nice resort! Beautiful views, great food, good drinks! The beach was are favorite part. Only negative thing I can say is the towel service. Everyday we would go out and come back in the afternoon to shower and get ready for dinner. Are room would be clean, but we would have no towels to shower with. We would call the front for towels everyday sometimes twice. And we would be told they be there in 5min but was more like an hr or more before they would arrive. They should really replace the towels at the same time the room is cleaned. Either than that we had a great trip and would definitely return in the future."
"Staff was stingy and wouldn’t serve me champagne before 11am. Very small resort but clean. Good A/C in rooms. Food was basic resort food. Only 3 restaurants(one you have to make reservations to eat). They charge you to exchange currency so do it before. You can rent a golf cart right across the street from the resort for 55/day. There is a really good place to eat down the road called Coco Loco! Beach is clean and no sea weed."
"The property was clean and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The amenities were sufficient. The kids loved the outdoor pool even when it was raining."
"This was my first time staying at a boutique hotel, and I have to say, it completely changed my perspective on travel. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I absolutely loved the experience. Unlike larger resorts, there were no overwhelming crowds, which made the stay feel much more private, relaxing, and personal.
The property itself is beautiful. The iguanas were everywhere and added so much character to the resort! The beach was gorgeous, and we were lucky enough to enjoy some truly spectacular sunsets though it was rainy season.
The food exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was incredible every morning, and dinner was always something to look forward to because there was a different theme each night. My favorite was the Costa Rican and Italian themed dinners, which were absolutely delicious and gave us a chance to experience local flavors.
One of the highlights of our stay was Alberto, one of the saloneros (waiters). He was friendly, attentive, hospitable, and genuinely made us feel welcome every day. His service stood out and truly elevated our experience. He was a shining example of hospitality and, honestly, provided a much warmer and more memorable experience than the receptionist lady.
We booked a room with a balcony, which was nice, but we ended up spending most of our time at the pool and beach. The swim-up bar was fantastic and became one of our favorite spots to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay."
"Nice clean hotel and great pool. Proximity to the airport was why we stayed here. There is a few restaurants, a brewery, and a mini super market within walking distance. The airport shuttle runs every 15 minutes, but be sure to make a reservation as it gets full quickly and most guests didn't realize they had to book a spot, this made for a chaotic scramble to get on at our reserved time."
