"In general, this hotel had a very friendly atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were kept very clean, and the front desk staff was wonderful and welcoming. They opened the restaurant after renovations the day before we arrived, so we got to enjoy it on day 2. The staff was organized, friendly, helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! They had a good knowledge of what was gluten free, and had gluten free toast available for me each day that we were there. Tom, the restaurant coordinator, was especially friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Lovely space! Comfortable and nice hot shower. Loved having in unit laundry! Staff were delightful and helpful! A bit farther away from the royal mile than we would have liked but neighborhood was quiet with great places for coffee. "

"Great location. The stay was overall good. The main issue was the bathroom which did not have a fan or window so very humid and there was mold on wall and on grout so unpleasant to be in that room."

"My room was presumably below a water tank or boiler. Super noisy throughout the night and struggled to sleep. A bit too Instagram for my taste. "

"Incredible location, five minute walk from the train station (though uphill) and right in Old Town. Place is clean and stylish, and the jail cell rooms are charming. Laundry was a plus."
