"Good value for money ,stayed 1 night while visiting family . Room well furnished with tea coffee facilities, a fan for warmer days . My only negative was the access to shower ,only half the door opened which meant we have to squeeze in and out"

"The staff at Osborne Apartments was fantastic! Huge shout out to Tegas at the front desk! He met every need (and we had many) that we expressed. He even helped get a takeout order ordered with his personal phone. The location of the apartment was perfect – – just a few minutes walk from the seafront and in a quiet area of town with street parking – – a huge plus!"

East Beach Hotel

"Mostly good. The room was really hot as you couldn’t open windows at night due to the noise from the road outside. The shower was ok. Toilet and sink separate from it. Towels could be a little bigger but were changed on request. Bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of tea and coffee. Staff very pleasant, friendly and helpful."

"Judy was exceptionally friendly and helpful. A ring was found that meant an awful lot to me. The hotel was a little tired around the edges in decor, but overall, it was not terribly expensive, with friendly staff and a nice breakfast. The room was very hot!. There are a lot of really poor hotels in Eastbourne. This is definitely one of the better ones."

"The Grand Hotel is a long-established, traditional hotel with a distinctly classic look and feel. The aesthetic is not quite my personal preference, but I had a good stay and was particularly impressed by the service. I emailed the hotel before arriving and received a prompt and helpful response. My room was spacious, with generous wardrobe space, a safe, a Nespresso machine with pods, two complimentary bottles of water and bespoke bathroom amenities. Service throughout my stay was excellent. Rita and Sylvia at reception were both extremely helpful, as was the valet team. Room service occasionally took a few attempts to reach, but once through, they were attentive and the food arrived promptly. I also overslept one morning and nearly missed breakfast. They kindly arranged a tray and brought it to my room. The food was consistently excellent. The hotel has a beautiful seafront setting, especially on a clear day and the lounge and afternoon tea are clearly popular with local guests. If you favour traditional grand hotels, classic interiors and attentive service, The Grand should suit you well. For me, the quality of the service was what made the stay."
