"It was recommended by other reviewers to stay in a corner room. Ours overlooked park lake, fire stairs on one side, the parking lot and neighborhood the other window. It was quiet. The tv was huge and blocked half the window on the lake side lol. The room was clean and had nice old touches to the room with bold wallpaper. Bed was good, firm and comfortable. We weren’t there much when the restaurant was open. We walked the two blocks to downtown. Very convenient. Parking at the hotel was easy (it’s November) with only maybe 15 cars in a nice large surface lot that can take high profile vehicles. We stayed in 501. We plan to stay here again in the off season but try a diff room for a diff view. Not sure the extra cost for a tv lake view was worth it lol"

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this wonderful first floor apartment! The off-street parking was super convenient, and the location couldn't be beat. We started off most mornings on the front porch with a cup of coffee, what could be better. The hosts were warm and inviting and couldn't have made us feel more at home. I look forward to our next visit!! "
