"Room and property was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing. There were many options but the eggs and French toast were cold. They do cook made to order eggs, so I would definitely recommend that. Staffing for breakfast was also poor and wait time for service was long. The only other draw back, no safe in the room."

"Never stay here. There were holes in our door, Spiders in ever corner. Parts of the tile missing. 2 jets in the jacuzzi didnt work. It took 45 mins to fill up and the water was scolding hott. The staff denied our request for more towels. A few lights didnt work in the room . There was a power strip wrapped around the night stand to use to plug our phones in. The gap between the floor and the door was about 2 inches, We had to put towels and a bench in front of the door to feel safe. Just dont do it."

"Room stinks like an ash tray and clearly had not been wiped down. Pool was closed and the maintenance man was rude when asked why it was closed when the front desk worker said it would be open at a specific time. I also asked for extra towels from the front desk and worker told me to go get them from the laundry room. The breakfasts were not near what is pictured. The “hot” breakfast item is a bagel that you toast. Overall so bad, my family and I left before our checkout date. We will not return. Avoid at all costs and just pay for a nicer hotel. Lesson learned on my end."

"Great value versus staying in two hotel rooms! This property gave us the space we needed to hangout, sleep and eat comfortably versus dealing with a hotel lobby, always eating out…..The proximity to EMU athletic fields really was a huge benefit.Finally, host interactions were seamless."

"The house was extremely affordable. You glget alot more than you expect with this house. 100% would recommend and would book again. It also helped that each room had its own air-conditioned and their own thermostat. I run very hot and need a very cool room and one of our companions is opposite me, she needs it warmer. So we could both get what we like. It was lovely and the host was super friendly."

"This home is incredible! We had 7 total adult guests, and between the multiple beds and two couches that had ottomans to convert them into beds, we had more than enough room. The finishes in the house were very high quality, with the main restroom having a massive shower.The only hurdle we ran into was with communication prior to our stay. Immediately after booking, I received an email from Guesty requiring me to register each guest staying at the property. This isn't a huge deal, except that it required me to upload drivers licenses for every guest. All guests were in their 30s, and we are all close friends, but I was uncomfortable asking each of them for this licenses.I emailed the host through Guesty twice, over a 2-week period, then I sent a message through Vrbo a week after that. Each message was asking the host if the drivers licenses were absolutely necessary since I felt uncomfortable getting them from my friends. After four weeks of no responses, I called the host, left a VM, and received a return call explaining that management requires this information, but that they'll get back to me by end of the day with confirmation. Two days of no contact went by, so I texted the host, who quickly confirmed that I could bypass the system by uploading my drivers license for each guest slot.Ultimately, the stay was PERFECT, it's just just that the lack of communication stressed us out since we weren't able to confirm our stay with the host until 6 weeks after we booked."

"We had no heat all day Sunday when it was single digits outside. I asked where the thermostat was at noon and got excuses all day. At 4:00 I sent a message saying that we'd give them one hour and then we'd have to leave as it was freezing cold. Finally, at 6 p.m. someone showed up to turn on the heat in the downstairs apartment where it had been turned off by the tenants who had moved out suddenly. The property manager tried to blame me for not getting back with him to tell him we hadn't closed the vents. Seriously? Why would we close them? They had worked beautifully all night long. Besides no heat, the window shades in the bedrooms were in tatters, there were rodents chewing on something in the walls and floors, and after 6" of overnight snow, I asked if there was a snow shovel to shovel the sidewalk down to the street and was assured maintenance would be there to shovel the sidewalk- they never showed up. I'm waiting to hear about a refund for the one night, but it looks unlikely. Renter beware: if you ever have an issue with a VRBO rental you must contact them while you are in the rental to get any satisfaction from VRBOCare. In all fairness I must confess that because the house was so cold, there were 4 glasses left in the sink unwashed. All towels were in the bathtub and an extra comforter was left on one of the beds. This is the first bad review I've ever left. :("
