"A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Yasiru in the dining room is one of the greatest wait staff ever. It’s always touching to be remembered by name and he nailed it every time. I especially like the way they have a cat house for the three cats they look after at the property. The two younger cats (Pinot and Noir) are very friendly. When looking for a place that has high standards in Colombo the Taj will meet your expectations every time."

"We checked-in to suite at Cinnamon life City of Dreams for two nights on our vacation. Cleanliness in the suite was excellent and the bed was very comfortable and a very quite atmosphere. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide spead. The pool was very clean and the pool staff was great. The Butler Service assigned for our suite was excellent too."

"Great place to stay in the Fort area. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet, as a solo female traveller I felt very comfortable walking around this area. There are shops, restaurants and cafes nearby so you do not need to walk far at all to get what you need. Several money exchange businesses as well as ATMs. I thought the hotel would be noisy but it was very quiet and calm. The staff were amazing, always greeting me with a smile and very helpful at all times. Reception seems to be open 24/7 so easy to chrck in at all times."

"I recommend the Dutch Heritage Colombo Hotel. It boasts an excellent location, situated just a ten-minute walk from the train station. The surrounding area is rich in historical and cultural landmarks, and—if you enjoy photography—it also offers a vibrant, authentic local atmosphere. The hotel features comprehensive amenities, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. Furthermore, they allowed me to store my luggage, which made it easy for me to travel to other cities. Overall, it is a hotel that offers great value for money."
