"The overall house and rooms were clean and tidy, and the area the house was located was quiet and pleasant. We had little to no issues throughout the stay and the hosts were pretty friendly when communicating. However, it was unclear there would be a second unit just behind ours in the backyard, which was no issue but the garage door leading to the house (with shared washer/dryer units) has no lock, so there was no sense of security with that. We also found many big cockroaches and other bugs...

"The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The house is in a perfect location! Whittier itself has a lot to offer from dining to parks to history but it is also easy access to routes leading to LA. When wanting lazy days at home the house was cozy and comfortable. I was with my teenage son and this house provided enough personal space. The neighborhood is safe and neighbors are friendly."
