"Traditional French chateau with a lovely owner who was responsive and helpful. We arrived late and he has restaurant suggestions ready for us. Small but clean rooms and worked well for our short stay in the auxerre."

"Great location on the river bank and in the old town. 5 mins from cathedral. This is an historic hotel so rooms were small but well furnished. Good private, secure parking in hotel."

"Superior double: clean, comfortable, roomy, wonderful shower, fridge, tea-making, bottled water. Refreshed daily. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast (a bit pricey?). We Will use this hotel again when back in the area."
