"Modern hotel in a very good location. Rooms with 3 proper beds, which aren’t easy to find in other hotels. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, what you expect but could do with a slight uplift in quality and attention to cooking on the hot food. Bacon needed more cooking, hash browns were a bit cheap with grey bits of potato and fried eggs were overcooked. Bar area was good for relaxing on an evening. Location is excellent, right on the doorstep of Albert Dock and Liverpool One. The John Lewis car park is a decent, spacious and well lit car park just a 3 min walk away."

"Beautifully manor house just outside of Chester with plenty of free parking. The room was spacious and clean. There was plenty of space to relax in the bar area as well as a terrace. Good value for money."

"We love staying here as the beds are really comfy, the staff are really nice and helpful. Normally I’d give the cleanliness a 5* but I went into the shower and found the head COVERED in mould, that had clearly built up for a while, it was late at night and I just wanted to shower. I informed the lovely staff member at the desk who was really understanding , she proceeded to upgrade our rooms for the inconvenience which I was extremely grateful for. I felt awful complaining because we’ve had nothing but enjoyable stays here but it was dealt with extremely professionally and fast which I appreciate. Will be back in the future"

"First time staying at Moxy Chester and we will definitely be back. Great location on the canal and literally minutes away from lots of bars and restaurants. The complimentary coffee machine down in the bar is a great touch. The room was modern, stylish and very clean with great toiletries included along with hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities etc The rooms are not very sound proofed so if you want to head up to bed early just be prepared for very loud music until midnight when it then stops. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Lots of choice from pastries, cheeses, fruit, sliced meat, cereals and of course a full English cooked selection which was amazing! Only complaint...no black pudding. This hotel is an excellent choice if you're travelling with a dog. Moxy will be our first choice now whenever we stay over in Chester. FIVE STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Clean room,easy check in, nice pool ,sauna etc. Good location. Downsides- £7.50 parking overnight parking is too high- why do we have to pay as a guest when room rate is already quite high plus breakfast not included? Pool area by showers and changing room was dirty and full of hair etc. Starbucks breakfast teacake was stale. Easy check out. It's very busy and can get noisy."
