"What I like is the room was well stocked, very clean and the staff is very helpful. What I did not like is the parking is very inconvenient and is quite a walk which is never fun in bad weather. They need more luggage carts. It looked like they have about 5 or 6 for about a 200 room hotel. There was only one place on the property to get breakfast in the morning. There is a stove and refrigerator in the room. I had no idea before hand those would be available!"

"I’ve stayed in over 30 hotels this year and this was the most disgusting place. Carpet was sticky, old with iron burn marks. Mold on shower curtain and in tub. Hair in tub. No shampoo or conditioner. Blow dryer almost caught fire. AC thermostat was not working. It was either really cold or hot. I would never stay there again."

"Adorable, beautiful surroundings"

"The place was a dream come true. Beautifully and meticulously maintained. Owners are an amazing couple, super thoughtful and helpful. Already planning a second trip!"

"We arrived late in the afternoon and were given the keys to our hotel room. When we got to the room it smelled like smoke. We opened the window to try and get the smell out. When my wife went into the bathroom there was still a used towel hanging. At that point we decided to leave. The staff was very understanding and helpful with this request and we did get a complete refund."

"Laptop got stolen from the room"

"Clean room, friendly staff, nice views. Best, though, is the relaxing decor, and ambience of the downstairs common area. Very nice. Breakfast is continental and rather simple (ie. cold cereal, yogurt, muffins, fruits) but did the trick for us. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you!"

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Wilmington. The room was as pictured, basic, but cozy and clean. Convenient location close to shops and restaurants. Seamless virtual check in. Great place to stay at this price point."

"The room was clean and spacious."

"This place is nothing like the description. Expedia has to do better. The surrounding area was full of sketchy people, The whole place is rundown and filthy. There was open soap stuck to the holder by the sink. The tub didn’t drain and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. It’s not cheap either! A refund needs to be an option in a place like this. It was positively gross! We weren’t told about breakfast, but we weren’t interested in it anyway! If the area food is prepared in is like the...

"Thia is a nice place to stop for the night. The manager/owner ia ao very nice and helpful. The location is great and it was pretty quiet. I think the price was fair and rhe accommodations werw just fine. It's nice that they allow dogs as well."

"Room was exactly like photos!! Super clean and cute!!! Staff friendly and attentive!! Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again!!!"

"Very old fashion rooms. Twin queen beds were comfortable but dated. I liked the den area were your group can get together and talk. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly."

"Clean room, Nice hot shower. Pleasant staff. Excellent amenities!!"

"The check in process was very frustrating. I booked through Expedia and wasn’t able to access my reservations through their online booking portal. A lodge TV at gas rooms dates in the 70s should probably have staff to check in if they can’t keep up with the technology"

"We returned to this place on a quick 2-day/last minute get away. Owner is new from last time. Nice people; helpful and made a very good breakfast. Only issue we really had was the plumbing. Our room had some kind of venting issue with the sink/toilet/shower. Toilet bubbled and would go down at times; sink would go slow/stop at times; shower also stopped up and went down very slow. Told the owner about it and hopefully they can get it fixed. But overall, pleasant stay."
