"Carpet, refrigerator table tops dirty. Pump shampoo and hand soap empty. Photo on Expedia must have been taken 30 years ago. Front office dirty windows dusty. Entire unit should be totally rehabilitated or torn down"

"Adorable, beautiful surroundings"

"Laptop got stolen from the room"

"We arrived late in the afternoon and were given the keys to our hotel room. When we got to the room it smelled like smoke. We opened the window to try and get the smell out. When my wife went into the bathroom there was still a used towel hanging. At that point we decided to leave. The staff was very understanding and helpful with this request and we did get a complete refund."

"X Did not like the very very small room. No TV, everything was dated"

"The property was beautifully done, with very inviting public spaces/game rooms and sophisticated decor in the room. The driveway was not obvious from the road and appeared to be a drop-down, so was easily missed. The bathroom was small but well organized. Overall really liked the property."

"Nice area; motel needs some TLC. Spent three nights while on a sightseeing trip. Overall enjoyed our stay."

"Nice property with stunning views in early October! Room was nicely kept and bed very comfortable. However, the food service in restaurant was under staffed and a bit slow. We arrived downstairs for the complimentary breakfast at given time to find nothing set up and no staff except the manager who was trying to accommodate. A bit disappointing."

"Poor included breakfast. Not much available. Bagels were very hard"

"Good place"

"Location is very good, motel maintenance was very good. Mahesh at the front desk, he is very friendly and informative. This place is very convenient for seeing Fall Colors on both Vermont and New Hampshire side."

"Very old fashion rooms. Twin queen beds were comfortable but dated. I liked the den area were your group can get together and talk. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly."

"Room was exactly like photos!! Super clean and cute!!! Staff friendly and attentive!! Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again!!!"

"The Black Mountain Inn has seen some decades...but it is well kept up with kindly staff. --Immediately off the I-91 exit, on the main road into Brattlelboro with fast food and cafes nearby. --Room as described and parking available next to it --Marvelous motel cat is part of the welcome committee --Maps and brochures as well as knowledgeable staff --Negative? The "breakfast" is actually coffee, various snack bars and pkg'd baked goods and yogurt. So, if you really need breakfast, you'll have...

"The check in process was very frustrating. I booked through Expedia and wasn’t able to access my reservations through their online booking portal. A lodge TV at gas rooms dates in the 70s should probably have staff to check in if they can’t keep up with the technology"
