"Excellent hotel, perfect location. Clean and comfortable. Amazingly friendly staff."

"We loved staying at De Vere in Cotswolds, it was very family friendly. The room was spacious and surroundings were beautiful and calm. I specifically liked the healthy choice of breakfast. For use of swimming pool, you have to pay £10/ per person and book a lot for 60mins, but it was worth it, not too busy and there were children but not chaotic at all. We definitely would like to come back!"

"Great stat and great staff very central"

"Fantastic spa. Lovely decoration. Excellent position."

"Book the biggest room available, the standard rooms are very small"

"The property was in an ideal location for the visit we had planned. The hotel is very well maintained and looks beautiful both from the inside and out. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. There were a few slight issues we experienced during our visit, the room became very warm because the radiator had to be on full otherwise it would be very noisy. And even though the room was spacious with extra seating and a full length mirror, there wasn’t anywhere to sit down with a...

"This is a beautiful well located hotel, super comfy beds with great decor and a great breakfast. BUT and this is a big BUT it is not a proper Spa hotel which I did not pick up on until too late, it offers treatments but not the typical pool or sauna options you would expect, I was really disappointed and felt a bit ripped off as I don't feel it is good value for money without having a proper Spa, its a bit cheeky for it to be listed on Expedia under the spa category. But it is stunning, it is...

"Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Clean spacious rooms. Great location. We walked downhill into town each day and got the 31 bus back up the hill each day and it stops outside the hotel. Great location"

"I'm fascinated by hotels where the mugs don't fit in the coffeemaker. How did this happen, and how did they not fix it? The lighting was some of the worst, most confusing lighting I have ever seen in a hotel, five different switches, each of which worked differently. We had to sleep with the closet light on all night because we eventually gave up. On the plus side, the views were incredible, beds comfy, the breakfast was terrific and staff at breakfast were amazing, just a wonderful experience...

"Great stay, booked for a second visit"

"I have stayed here over May years. The staff are always lovely and willing to help. The rooms are clean, and having been refurbed, a great place to stay. Breakfast was really good. However, the prices seem to have increased a lot, there are much cheaper options in the vicinity, but this is somewhere I keep coming back to!"
