"Well-located, clean and modern property with a very friendly and helpful staff. Close walk to everything. Dining and public areas a little sterile but that’s a minor point"

"Extremely clean room and buffet breakfast was brilliant"

"Not our cup of tea unfortunately. The outside grounds are beautiful but the inside doesn’t match. It’s very old and outdated inside, no ambience (all the main lights turned on everywhere). The breakfast wasn’t as advertised on the website. It was worse than a premier inn. We had breakfast included and only ate there once. I wouldn’t go back and it’s put me off staying at another Handpicked Hotel sadly."

"We spent 10 minutes here - was a surprise for my partner . But we both got a surprise at the disgusting room we was allocated . Still awaiting a refund Pictures tell the story room 118 5 star hotel really ??????"

"country house hotel and spa less expensive than others but equally good. will stay again"

"All payments was by card even a cup of coffee I do like to use cash once in a while"
