"Fine for the price."

"A beautiful and spacious hotel if a little faded in places given its age. Excellent welcoming staff and a perfect breakfast."

"Only stayed one night but found all staff were exceptionally helpful and professional. Our room was furnished in a modern stylish fashion and was spotlessly clean. The view from our balcony was exactly as one would wish ~ panoramic span of Eastbourne seafront. Whilst being extremely close to the beach and sea, the double glazed windows and sliding door were so effective that there was virtually no noise entering the room. Would not hesitate to recommend The View Hotel to friends and will...

"Like most people these days price and value plays a large part in making choices, This hoel I just a little more expensive than some basic providers which is offset by things like free parking on site, and you feel like you have stayed in a real hotel. So generally very good especially when you have been upgraded as we were.. Now the negatives the room we had was on the ground floor the noise from the room above due to poor sound insulation and creaking floor and joists were the worst I have...

"LIKE THE OVERALL LOOK OF THE CHATSWORTH FROM OUTSIDE, RECEPTION AREA WAS CLEAN. CIGAR AREA/BAR AND RESTAURANT WAS VERY NICE WITH THE JAZZ SINGER OUR ROOM WAS UPGRADED WAS A PLUS THANK YOU TO THE LADY RECEPTIONIST .I THOUGHT THE BEDROOM CARPET NEED A GOOD CLEAN OR CHANGE, THE PILLOW IS FLAT AS A PANCAKE. THE SPACIOUS MARBLE BATHROOM AND THE SEAVIEW IS WORTH STAYING."

"We had three nights in the Spa Hotel and we had a very comfortable room on floor 3 with pleasant views out on the extensive grounds of the Hotel. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The Orangery is a pleasant place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is plenty parking. Overall an ideal place to stay in Tunbridge Wells."

"Absolutely no problems with my stay , any questions asked of reception staff were quickly answered I had a single room which was on the smaller size but still plenty of room with wardrobe, small Chester drawers with tea, milk etc on top, a round table and chair with a side top next to bed. Hotel right opposite beach and 5 minutes to pier and main street leading to town and station (15=20 mins)"

"Receptionist excellent room lovely"

"Very good location, well maintained, very clean rooms and bathrooms, helpful staff in breakfast. Just that there is no car park, not easy to find a free car park within walking distance."
