"This place is nothing like the website. The non-smoking room was completely smoky. Only one elevator, and the only thing slower than it was the waitress service in the restaurant. Had the steak special. Sent it back, the first time in years that I’ve done that. They brought out the brussels sprouts that went with it. Then they brought another steak, which was OK. "This place is terrible. The room was dirty. It smelled like musty, mildew, and mold. There was mold or mildew on the closet door. The lock on the front door was loose. Screws are falling out. The floors were dirty like they’ve never been vacuumed. The lamps were broken, rusted, and falling apart. Everything about this place was disgusting. Do not go here. We unfortunately had to stay. It was late at night. I have a toddler and there were no other options. We slept on top of the covers and left...

"Vicksburg is all about the Civil War and you couldn’t ask for a better place than the Inn at Cedar Grove. Meals were excellent and the Staff were attentive. The Inn could use further renovations but not a huge issue given its age and use. Lots of history within the Inn itself. "
