"My partner and I were excited to visit Lake Geneva for our anniversary after seeing strong reviews and photos online. We booked a king room with a resort view for two nights. Before arrival, trying to extend our stay by one night took multiple calls, transfers, and long hold times, which was our first red flag. At check in, we were told our reserved resort view was unavailable and were “upgraded” to a pool view, even though the pool was closed for winter. Staff insisted this was a better option...

"Lake Lawn has been around for well over 100 years. While the grounds are as expansive and lovely as always, major renovations have been done to the rooms, restaurant and common areas. Staff is friendly and professional from maintenance to front desk. While we went in what was the "off season" there were still enough options to make our stay worthwhile. "

"Everything was really clean except the sauna & indoor pool area can do for an upgrade!"

"The hot tub and pools were out of order . also they were updating and rehabbing rooms and floors and had people blasting music, slamming closing doors and sanding walls at 8 AM on a Saturday. "

"Room & view were great. Prob the best in Lake Geneva. Restaurant & bar had really friendly & attentive team members. However, the hvac fan ran all night & sounded like a loud jet engine & the thermostat was very difficult to understand. The display timed out very quickly so if you didn’t know what to do, you had to start over. This was a big miss I think, and the only directions in the book were “call the front desk” :("

"Very clean hotel, staff was very nice and accommodating. Store has items you would need if you can’t get to the store. The only down side is that there is no hot tub and the pool is pretty small. Luckily my kids were the only ones swimming during our stay so it went smooth. Over all I would recommend and I would definitely return."
