"Great spot heaps to do 👍"

"The room was clean, had everything we needed , beds were comfy very comfy , had all the amenities including air con and running hot water which catered to me and my family of 4. Very quiet and you even get views of Lake Taupo from the room . For the price we paid we got more than we bargained for 👏. Props to the house keepers whom work hard day in day out to get these rooms looking the way they do for guests. Only downside is when you’re going to the pools be mindful it’s A steep walk down and...

"Little drive to/from town central, decent place and good food but very cold hotel. Everywhere you go, the hotel was cold apparently the common area heater was broken. No lounge area to hangout or do some work other than your hotel room or the bar. Hilton, you can do better!!!!"

"Very clean great location and the hot pool was awesome"

"Lovely room on the lake with an outside table which was perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. The bathroom is now quite dated, but spacious and functioned well. Very comfortable bed. Staff were not very welcoming at reception. We arrived at 1.30 and told room would not be ready until 3. They did not check to see if it was ready or offer to keep our luggage, but suggested we go to the bar and have a drink and wait. When we arrived back 3 hours later with all our luggage to check in we...

"The staff on arrival were very pleasant, however we had requested 2 beds and they split the current bed but seemed to use the very large sheets so that you almost tripped over them. The beds were very narrow. No lounge chair to sit and watch TV The first day we were there they came and only made 1 bed, did not remove the rubbish or vacuum. the next day they arrived at 11. 55, I asked them to come back in half an hour (we were going out to lunch) and was told they were finishing soon. This was...

"Very clean, well equipped and best of all, comfortable beds."

"Our stay was amazing, starting with our arrival, staff was so kind, welcoming. The room, it was perfect for a family of four, all we needed was right there. The pool, oh my goodness, don't get me started this was amazing, my girls & husband loved the waterslides. I love how movies were played. The cave was cool & the swim up bar was a high light."

"Its was good"

"Staff always really good. Some parts of the unit I was in could do with a scrub but wasn’t terrible. Bed comfy, sheets clean etc. shower hot 👍"

"Highly recommend"

"A staff member was really accommodating and gave us a complimentary upgrade to a groundfloor room as my elderly mom had developed mobility issues just before our trip. We really appreciate this."

"Have stayed in this hotel a few times in the past with no issues . Unfortunately this stay didn’t meet expectations. The tv didn’t work, 1 pillow provided with no extras available in room The bed was strangely super low to the ground The peep hole in back of door was stuffed with toilet paper. Not saying we wouldn’t stay here again but the hotel needs to put some effort to making it a descent place to stay."
