"The property is gorgeous. There is no prettier setting. The food and wine were excellent. We found the service marginal at best. It was not customer centric, and there was much more that couldn’t be done than we have experienced anywhere else. I understand that a “yes” is not always possible, but a mindset that is “can-do” to find solutions is what is helpful. Also, we were flabbergasted that after extremely expensive spa treatments, they charged an additional 100 euros for use of the other spa...

"The room was good, but small and the bed/pillows were not very comfortable, but kind of expected when visiting Italy. My only real "con" was dinner at the restaurant. We shared 3 courses, and the food was not to our liking. The combination of ingredients was just not good. Otherwise it's a great place."
