"Staff was friendly"

"Charming hotel, staff wee great. Restaurant was understaffed for July 4th but they were able to accomodate us. Highly recommend it but please make sure you have a dinner reservation on busy days. Also, the bar and restaurant have beautiful patios on both sides but they both close at 9pm. There is nothing nearby. Suggestion for management - maybe consider staying open later?"

"I have stayed here twice now, and love this place. The first stay was in much newer cabin, which was better appointed. This stay was in one of the vintage cabins. Very cute and old school in a fun way. And the location near one of the most beautiful lakes I’ve ever seen is hard to beat! However, they need to change out some of the furniture which wasn’t well designed for groups and there was some general maintenance required. Could use some more plates in the kitchen and some newer pots...

"Our first trip to the area! We really enjoyed “The Little Cabin in the Redwoods”. It wasn’t far from town but felt like we were in the forest. The cabin was cute with lots of windows to enjoy the tree views. There was a turkey that made her way through the yard each morning!The cabin had everything we needed to prepare food and they even provided tea and coffee which was nice. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub ( the temperature was nice and toasty) and it was so beautiful to relax in it and look...

"Here’s a friendlier version with minimal changes while still clearly describing the issue: When we arrived at Mary’s place, the house number was obscured by a shirtless, visibly unwell person pushing a trash cart in front, which wasn’t a great first impression. We pulled around, and I entered the last four digits of my telephone number into the keypad, which appeared to have been damaged or dug into with some sort of sharp metal object, only to discover that either the number had never been put...

"Amazing! Loft is really cool. Grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The river is beautiful and the wildlife encounters are awesome. We loved Willow Creek and had a great day exploring Eureka. 5-star review. Hope to come back in the Spring. Here for an October birthday and it rained the whole time, but that made it lovely too!"

"Great little ole cabin. Loved the location near trinity river. It was summertime and the a/c worked great! Would definitely stay again!"

"Needs some TLC, updated decor, maintenance and a deep cleaning. The master bathroom sink doesn’t drain, no extra toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags. No towel rack or hooks in guest bathroom, no toilet paper holder in guest bathroom. Bedroom closets are full of random junk and was not able to use them. Not able to use the TV, no DVD player or DVDs. Needs a radio or Bluetooth speaker, needs alarm clock in bedrooms. No books to read, no deck of cards. Needs a tea kettle, foil, ziplock bags....
