"Gary and Chrissy are WONDERFUL hosts. Property is relaxing. Amazing place to disconnect. Please beware, this is a working farm. You will be around animals. Including Chickens and Roosters. To my wife and I, this added to the charm of the place. The breakfast they serve as part of you stay is all fresh food from the land and delicious. Would definitely come back and highly recommend."

"This cottage was the ideal place to stay for our visit. My family was in town for Cooperstown baseball. It was a great location, close to the fields, not far from town, but also secluded. "The location was good. The house has a ton of space. The property was peaceful. I wasn’t aware that the basement was rented out separately so when we arrived we were surprised to find a car from another state there. I also wasn’t aware that the house DOES NOT HAVE A/C! The temperature reached 100 degrees but house does has a couple fans and gets a really good cross breeze when you open the doors and windows. I wish more of windows and the exterior doors had screens has there were quite a few...

"We loved our stay at Abels Acres! It's so beautiful there. The house was amazing and had everything you'd need while staying there. There was plenty of space for everyone both inside and out and the game room was so fun! We saw possums, ground hogs, fire flies, turtles and a beaver. Highly recommend this property!"

"The property was as described, with beautiful views and a scenic countryside setting. The drive to Cooperstown is about 25 minutes and very pretty, though guests should be aware that the roads are rural and late-night driving requires caution due to deer activity.The beds were firm, the bathtub was a nice feature, and the grill worked great. We also appreciated the owner's responsiveness and willingness to answer a late-night call when we had trouble locating the property. The address did not...

"Our stay at The Oasis was wonderful. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed - including paper products, garbage bags and all bathroom needs. The owners were super responsive and informative. The kids loved the pool, wiffle ball field and the firepit. "
