"Unfortunately, I can't recommend this property to others. The home was very poorly maintained and many of the listing's amenities were broken or not functioning. Most seriously, one of the knobs on the kitchen stove broke on the last day of our stay and started a major gas leak. We had to wake up two kids under 3 who were napping and evacuate. The host was responsive, but the stove clearly hadn't been serviced or tested recently. The hot tub was broken for the entire length of our stay. We could...

"I booked this place for a quick one-nighter. If you just need a room, it should do the job. I will say: the staff could use a lesson in just general friendliness. The front desk hardly showed any emotion. At one point, they left the front desk completely deserted for about 10 mins, and a bunch of people showed up and waited in line with NO SIGN of anyone. Never leave the front desk empty. Also, I booked with 'Breakfast Included" but, of course, the "oven was not working" so forget any hot...

"The front desk service was extremely rude and unprofessional. I booked through Expedia, but the hotel—not Expedia—charged my card. When I asked for a receipt, the staff incorrectly told me to contact Expedia. After about 10 minutes, the manager finally printed it. When I tried to show her Expedia’s policy, she refused to look and responded with a very dismissive attitude. If the hotel continues employing front desk staff with this attitude, it will drive customers away and cost the business...

"The mattress cover was full of barley fluids. We went to three different rooms and it was the same thing in each room. Expedia gave us a full refund. So we were left out in the cold and had a fireplace to stay. We did notify the board of health and they are going to have an investigation. Would not recommend this place to anybody."
