"Staying at Tropikist was convenient with the airport just minutes away. Although the rooms are slightly dated, they met all my needs. I enjoyed the clean pool and jacuzzi, despite the occasional leaf from the surrounding trees, though the jacuzzi area could use better lighting at night. Check-in was smooth, even if some resort details were missed. A major drawback was a complete water outage one night. On my final night, the buffet experience was frustrating; after lining up, getting my food,...

"The place is very old which is ok but it's poorly maintained and it appears they turn the hot water off during the day."

"Well maintained property, staff are very helpful and welcoming, breakfast 10/10 and parking was very convenient. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again."

"Great location on the beach. Tours available to Little Tobago."

"Clean room but lack closet space and fan in the bathroom."

"Unfortunately my family's five day stay was a terrible experience. The hotel is very run down and poorly maintained. And there were issues from the time we arrived. The biggest problem was mosquitoes in and outside our room. I complained to the young receptionist and her first response was very disappointing. I was told that there were some "very important people" including judges expected to arrive and we might not be able to switch rooms. Advice to the young lady: never make a guest feel like...

"Very quiet and surrounded by nature. Paths to rooms are uneven in places. Would have preferred more local choices on the menu."

"Had a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend here in July .Access from the airport was a 10 minutes walk ,the rook were ready and clean when we got there.Food was delicious, staff was nice and very helpful. My only complaint is the ac didn’t work to well in the room we had ,but staff offered us another room without hesitation. Very close the lovely store bay was a big plus"

"Great, helpful and efficient staff"

"The restaurant service staff and the food was great. Beautiful property and the room was well maintained."

"Great Service and ambiance."

"The water pressure in the cabin shower was very low, so prepare to take a little more time to shower. The staff were very friendly and the facility generally met expectations for the price."

"Rooms were clean and comfy. Staff, well there’s not a front desk but when called for assistance it was given pleasantly. Pool was clean, the game room was out of order the day I was gonna use it with my family so that sucked. But overall was a nice stay"

"There are better hotels to choose from"

"I checked in around 5:30 pm and there was no receptionist. I was escorted to my room by the very friendly and apologetic security officer. The first sight that greeted me was lizard poop on the armchair and a big fat lizard on the wall above. I could not stay in this room so I was escorted to the one next door. I didn’t feel safe in this room as the balcony door did not close properly and therefore could not lock. The door track was filthy. Additionally the latch above the entry door was...
