"This was our second stay - we were pleased overall. The breakfast was still phenomenal, the staff very friendly, and the pool view gorgeous.
One negative though - the room we got had a pretty strong smell of tobacco. We immediately enquired about it, suggested that the housekeeper spray something to neutralize the smell. The man at the reception did not pay much attention to our request, all he said is that smoking is not allowed. He never followed up afterwards to let us know if they at least attempted to do something about the smell, and the smell stayed for the whole week. It was quite unpleasant every time we would enter the room, and it was upsetting that there was not some kind of effort or gesture from management to acknowledge our disappointment.
Given the standing of the hotel and the prices, this is pretty disappointing. We are not sure to return for a 3rd time."
