"Overall the hotel room was clean and did the job but the room was very tired. Furniture was damaged and stained. Facilities in the main reception again was basic but provided all we needed. Think they could maybe have more staff in the hospitality areas and the breakfast was not the best we have had. But overall for the price it was satisfactory."

"I enjoyed using the heated pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Swimsuit wet bag and dryer/spinner were available in the changing room. It is the small details of service and convenience that makes Hilton a good hotel brand. Breakfast was great. I paid 16 pounds for myself and 2 teens. ( I wonder if it was free for children). Breakfast was buffet style, high standard. You can order fresh orange jucie, waffles, pancakes, poached eggs from the waiters. The room was in good size and clean. One...

"Room was clean, spacious and the bed was massive and comfortable. Paid £10 for secure onsite parking but had to ask security several times in the evening to put the barriers down! Breakfast was just okay. Food was tasty but lukewarm. Overall a great budget stay and would stay again."

"The hotel is pet friendly which is good but we had to sit on the tiled part of the flooring which was directly by the entrance so every time people went in or out there was a cold blow on us and it wasn't ideal for the lounge area"

"I had good sleep. The lady making breakfast very friendly makes you feel like home. I booked one day and then added another night. Good for the price, I had to ask for pillows the one was in the room wasn’t to my liking . "

"I was disappointed with my experience, particularly given the high standards I associate with Hilton. The level of customer service fell well below expectations. Unfortunately, the receptionist's attitude was neither welcoming nor professional. First impressions are important, and I felt the interaction lacked the courtesy and hospitality one would expect from a hotel of this reputation. In addition, no complimentary water was offered upon check-in, which is a small gesture but one that many...

"Fantastic place to stay. We’ll stay again. Top location. Welcoming. Lovely decor great food. Great drink abc cocktail selection. Fantastic friendly staff both daytime and breakfast. Lovely big room. Comfortable. Great food. Perfect."

"Lovely place to stay, clean room although the carpets could do with a revamp. Staff were very helpful even though we arrived very late in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, very nice poached eggs."

"Fantastic stay. Great location. Staff wonderful. Great breakfast Highly recommend"

"The Hotel location is fanstantis as it is close to restaurants. The Hotel reception need upgrading, completely We found it selfish of the Hotel to outsource its parking to a 3rd party - as we choose FREE parking in the Expedia filter. Guests like paying for all amenties direct, rather than to a 3rd party. Overall, it was okay, as it was a 1 night stay."

"night staff were so polite and helfull, so clean and very quiet"

"VOor het ontbijt iets van plakjes kaas of zo erbij"

"Room was good size and clean Use of the pool was good"

"Every time I travel back north I stay at this place as it's friendly, has what you need and more-aka the restaurant next door and nearby to bigger shops too"
