"Terrible! Many of the nicest rooms — which depending on the season cost upwards toward 1,000 Euro per night — have compromised views due to construction. The photo of the view of the building under construction and the massive crane was the view I was greeted with in the suite which I was checked into. It took two days and nights of complaining - and getting Expedia involved — to finally be moved to a room that had a “sea view.” I did a little digging and learned that this has been an ongoing...

"This is a perfect hotel from which to explore the center of Split. Diocletion's Palace is just steps away, as is shopping and many cafés and restaurants. The pool on the roof is awesome and is a great place for photos. The view from the restaurant on the roof is also spectacular. We ate in two of the hotel restaurants, the one on the roof and the one on the ground floor. Both were delicious. The hotel room was comfortable and clean. I would stay here again and I highly recommend it to others."

"I don’t typically leave reviews about hotels I’ve stayed at, but this one deserves it. The hotel is beautiful, right on the water, and just minutes from downtown. But what was most impressive was the staff. They were so kind and went out of their way to make sure your stay is as fantastic as possible. I would definitely stay here again."

"This is a decent hotel located on a very beautiful beach. The hotel itself is fine. Not spectacular, but pleasant. It's a solid 4-star hotel. For the price, it's beachfront location makes it a good value. The view out the window is spectacular. It's located within easy walking distance of many fun restaurants along the beach. The hotel has several day beds on the beach that you can only use if you pay for them. They don't let you reserve the day beds, so you need to go out and claim them early....

"Great location; just a 7-minute walk to Old Town. A little culture shock when we got there, as there were tons of smokers right outside of the hotel — it shares the location with a bus stop. The property is clean, staff is helpful, AC works great. Shampoo, etc, could use a revamp, and the bathroom could use more light. Breakfast was nice. We only spent one night and do recommend the stay."

"Very welcoming and accommodating staff. However, the property is not accessible without many stairs. Also the meal times were limited for an all inclusive especially for individuals who are not early risers on vacation. Lastly this property is almost 2 hours from the airport which makes commuting back to the city area and airport very expensive. The Beach is beautiful and once again the staff members were amazing."

"Very friendly and helpful staff, small but nice pool area, I got my room at noon when arrived, but that will probably vary. Short walk to the beach, but its on relative steep gravel path. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from old town, and the walk is through a quiet residential neighborhood. This also means its quiet at night. Room was clean and practical, and had seating area at balcony . Breakfast is simple but decent, and outdoor breakfast area was as extra plus in my book. If i i would go to...
