"This hotel is under construction..the breakfast they advertised on expedia is NOT included in the rate…surprise…the hotel room is sufficient and roomy. My second stay (different room) the nespresso maker did not work and I could not get hot water for my shower. I was not impressed at all. I would not stay again!!"

Breakfast is good with a wide selection of foods to choose from. Very quick car ride to the Blue Lagoon which was nice. Also did a brief driving tour of the Reykjanes peninsula upon departure from the hotel which was beautiful."

"This was a very basic bare bones accommodation. The cabin was fairly small but the furnishings, floors, fixtures were all old, musty and smelly. "The hotel looked great and the beds were very comfortable. However, the booking didn't include access to the spa so it costs 6000 isk per person extra if you were expecting to use it. Also, I almost felt the employee was not happy to greet us when we arrived, check out was great though!~"

"Serene Silica Hotel...much less traveled lagoon experience. Frolic and bask in hot healing waters without the masses. Stayed here twice and next visit to Iceland will stay again.."
