"This is a very (relatively) affordable place to stay. I did a social dinner that was fun. Sleeping in the big rooms in a pod was OK once I had the earplugs in, but since one must be quiet there is a vibe of "don't talk to me!" throughout the facility. Outside of the sleeping room, it is a youth hostel and has the energy and music that goes with that. The staff were great."

"The staff could not have been better, friendly and helpful. The room itself was very clean but nothing great and only had the bare minimum in it. I didn't realise before booking but parking and the use of the pool, sauna and steam room are not free. The pool when I used it as well was incredibly busy to the point you could not move as it's open to the general public. I don't think I'd stay again given the price I paid and the extra charges for what I would have imagined most hotels would...

"Convenient"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful and hotel was up to date and clean. We had a lovely stay."

"Wonderful staff. Excellent location. Room was small but manageable."

"It was my first hostel experience and I thought it was great. The location is excellent, and the staff are very attentive. The only downsides (nothing that would stop me from returning) were the noise in the hallways and the bathroom, which could have been cleaner. But I highly recommend it."

"The location is good and the design of the lobby is nice BUT the cleaning is very poor: 1- The shower is unclean at least in our room. 2- We asked them more than 3 times after they “clean” the room to make the bed and take the trash out. How do you clean the room if you don’t empty the trash bin or make the bed? 3- The lightbulb was flickering in the bathroom and it delays when it’s switched on. 4- The WiFi is slow."

"Great central location. Hotel is clean and staff are helpful. The on-site restaurant offers fresh meals and beverages. Would recommend this hotel. It’s great value for money."

"Buena atención,suit muy confortable (no así la habitación comun"

"We stayed at the Mount Royal hotel for 3 nights. We booked it for the view and the central location. The first night our shower would not drain, a nice man from the front desk came up twice with a plunger and many many towels to soak up all the water. They did provide me a room down a couple hallways to go and shower. To be walking down the halls with a towel on my head and in my pajamas when paying a lot of money was far from ideal. They offered up a different room the next morning so the...

"The shower smelt of urine and dubious stain on the sheets…."

"Words can’t describe this beautiful hotel. The staff was hands down some of the best. Jamal went above and beyond. Even the cleaning lady was helpful and so so sweet. Definitely recommend this hotel"
