"This is a very (relatively) affordable place to stay. I did a social dinner that was fun. Sleeping in the big rooms in a pod was OK once I had the earplugs in, but since one must be quiet there is a vibe of "don't talk to me!" throughout the facility. Outside of the sleeping room, it is a youth hostel and has the energy and music that goes with that. The staff were great."

"So paid for breakfast both nights but my flight was changed for the second morning so could not get breakfast as too early to check out? The guy behind the desk said no problem and we can’t give you your money back but I will have a packed breakfast made for you both and leave outside your door so you can take with you! Well no breakfast and the guy on the check out desk did not have a clue about it! So 50 pounds for two breakfasts was well worth it NOT Hotel was very nice though"

"The staff could not have been better, friendly and helpful. The room itself was very clean but nothing great and only had the bare minimum in it. I didn't realise before booking but parking and the use of the pool, sauna and steam room are not free. The pool when I used it as well was incredibly busy to the point you could not move as it's open to the general public. I don't think I'd stay again given the price I paid and the extra charges for what I would have imagined most hotels would...

"Rooms are tight but I had the best night sleep in 14 nights in Scotland. Bed and pillows were great! Loved the location, staff were amazing and so helpful! They pre booked a taxi for us for the morning trip to the airport, bagged up a to go breakfast! Would highly recommend! We stayed 2 nights."

"We had a two twin bed room. We knew it was going to be small but it was smaller than expected. There was no where for the person with the bed against the wall to open their suitcase. The suitcase had to be lifted up onto the bed to be able to open it. That was tiresome after a few days. The second bed also did not have a night stand so there was no where for them to put their phone or water bottle. There was space for a night stand so we didnt understand why they wouldn't have one. We also did...

"Really good sized room. Hotel was in a nice and quiet part of town. Felt safe."

"The location is good and the design of the lobby is nice BUT the cleaning is very poor: 1- The shower is unclean at least in our room. 2- We asked them more than 3 times after they “clean” the room to make the bed and take the trash out. How do you clean the room if you don’t empty the trash bin or make the bed? 3- The lightbulb was flickering in the bathroom and it delays when it’s switched on. 4- The WiFi is slow."

"It was not much of a hassle to get into the old town where all the action is as as well as the Airport. Otherwise a pretty normal hotel. Best part, it was half the price as downtown or old city places."

"Wonderful staff. Excellent location. Room was small but manageable."

"So much better than expected. Beautiful room, everything brand new. Gym was a highlight, even a free yoga class. Great location, great staff."

"Rooms were very clean, though given the price I paid, my doubled-bed room was shockingly tiny. I kept bumping into things and there was barely space to navigate around the bed. No refrigerator, so not convenient for those who carry medication. However, the location is super stellar. Staff was meh. They didn’t seem particularly enthused about catering to clientele."

"Beautiful old building. Cozy beds. Rooms could use a bit of updating"
