"Overall the hotel was okay. Food and Customer Service was okay. Good location"

"We had a great time at whala the menu was ok and the drinks and room were great I was happy to come with husband and 2 kids."

"Great place"

"This property is old but well kept. If you need a 1-2 day cheap stay near the airport this is your place. I only stayed one night. Power went out and I panicked due to the heat but in 20 mins came back on and stayed. TV is only few local channels. Shower was ok with hot water. Bed and pillow good enough. Parking is secure. Premise is cute and dated. Not for long stays."

"We came as a family of 6, and were able to book a room with 3 large beds. Attached to our room was a kitchen/dining area. It was very accommodating for our family. It's a dated building, but the full breakfast they served was great! The room and breakfast was very worth what we paid. And the staff was very friendly. It was a block from the party section of Boca Chica which was a negative for our family."
