"Breakfast buffet was great, staff were wonderful and very friendly. The wifi was the only downside as not available in rooms, so any calls to family plus checking emails had to happen in public spaces like reception or dining area. Car rental services were on pricier side. Families with younger children have been housed on the margins/ends of the property to allow for quieter time for children-free couples/travellers - thank you for being considerate! All else was magical!"

"The staff were all very helpful and friendly, particularly, Susey, Heleina & Sarafina who went the extra mile. We did have one sleepless night when the room smoke alarm gave several false alarms but this was fixed . All in all we had a great stay"

"I recently stayed at Le Manumea Hotel and honestly had such a great experience. I really enjoyed my stay, the room was beautiful, and the bathroom was definitely a highlight for me. I loved the design. The customer service was excellent from start to finish, with staff who were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. It made the whole experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Samoa"

"Amazing spot. Big property with 3 beach’s to choose from. Rooms and amenities are great. Hotel staff were excellent, service with a smile. Some long waits for food at restaurant but island time isn’t a bad thing! Close to the airport but a bit far from Apia and other attractions in Upolu so bring cash for taxis. Best spot to book in Samoa!"

"We booked for 9 nights but stayed only 3. Staying in a fale on the beach at faofao became intolerable without respite from the relentless pounding of the ocean on the reef especially at night. Swimming or just sitting in the water to escape the heat was impossible with the tide almost reaching the fale. No TV at all and no Internet access in the fale. Internet also turned off. Obliged to sit in uncomfortable eating area for Internet access. No respite from bright security lights. Toilet bowl...

"Savaii Lagoon is a truly tropical island resort, it is picture perfect in an incredible setting. I travelled from Australia with my three tall teenage children, and the villa was ideal for us with two single beds and a queen. The space was generous, with air-con and a large ceiling fan so we all slept very comfortably. The staff, beach, and views were outstanding. "Large areas of the resort are run down and abandoned. The are holes in the deck around the pool. Wifi is only available at reception and is intermittent at best. For the price you will get better amenities staying in a Beach Fale instead. That said, the staff did everything they could to help us have an enjoyable stay - but there's not much they can do when the place hasnt been maintained in more than a decade"
