"Basic run down old hotel. Damaged walls in hallway, poorly maintained common areas. Old furnishings. Mere basics in room. No usb ports, no Kleenex, face cloths, . Balcony door ascrew. Dead flower pots on back porch. Room Was warm and air circulation comfortable. Noisy train line beside. Absent staff . Front door locked and no attendant so could not leave to get fresh air when awake at 3am with jet lag . Bar looked like a derelict canteen . Hotel eating should have been 2 stars"

"Bathroom mirror lights not working, two bulbs not working in bedroom chandelier. Both halibut and sea bream overcooked for Saturday meal. Otherwise very good and excellent stay."

"Staff"

"Property was ok. Staff was great."

"Nice traditional hotel but very few guests in hotel or restaurant . Disappointed that a £50 card deposit taken from my Account and still not refunded almost a week later"

"Good"

"We were only in England for five days so I did not get the opportunity to enjoy the property as much as I had hoped, plus the weather was uncooperative. The staff and restaurant and rooms were lovely though. I have a local friend in chertsey who was able to drive us (me and my friend )to the nearby train station when we wanted to go into London. Otherwise it is a short Uber ride to get to Weybridge train station. The prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend."

"I had to wait in reception for 10 minutes before I was seen to. No staff in reception on my return at 7.45pm. In the morning the shower took about 6 mins to warm up. Tv didn’t have any standard channels, just yesterday, shopping and a few others. No one in reception when I left at 10.30am. Otherwise, it was a mediocre stay."

"Words fail me. Enough said."

"We've just had the most amazing stay at The Swan, with our two dogs. Our room was fantastic with everything provided both for us, and for our dogs. All the staff were extremely dog friendly and helpful, and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. We will definitely be back for another stay"

"Room extremely basic and smelt musty. Glasses were sticky."

"Always an exceptional stay. The sleeping rooms are clean with comfortable beds and well appointed. The restaurant food is very good with friendly service."

"The hotel is in serious need of renovation and better maintenance. The rooms and facilities look outdated, and cleanliness needs significant improvement. Overall, the property requires major upgrades and a much higher standard of cleaning to provide guests with a comfortable and pleasant stay."

"A fantastic stay with our dog with easy access to Virginia Water. The staff were excellent and super helpful."

"Beautiful boutique rooms, staff very attentive. Scotty was extremely polite and helpful"

"★☆☆☆☆ – A Distressing Experience I Would Never Wish on Another Traveller I booked this property through Expedia for one night and, before travelling, emailed the owners several times to explain that I would be arriving with my trained psychiatric assistance dog. Every email was ignored. Had they simply replied before I travelled, I would have cancelled my booking and stayed elsewhere. Instead, I travelled to the property alone with four suitcases, only to be told on arrival, "We don't allow...
