"Restaurant and bar not functioning and closed. Pool water dirty. Water issues in room. Staff let a crazy college party run rampant. Smoke - loud music - screaming, most the night. I will never stay here again. STAY AWAY."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Rivertown Inn and would recommend it to others. Would gladly stay there again. The staff was friendly and helpful, suggesting where we could go get a good breakfast the next morning. The room and adjoining bathroom were impeccably clean, and my wife is extremely picky. Parking is located along the length of the Inn and the staff helped us to know which entrance was closest to our room. Check out was a breeze. Thank you for an excellent experience!"

"we arrived to hotel around 6 pm . our first room was terrible , there was long hair all over the chairs crumbs on the microwave my wife found mouse turds on the bath room floor. Our second room was worse, human blood on the bottom side of the toilet , it was not clean on the inside either.The coffee maker in the room was dirty , she had to clean it just so we could use it. The bed sounded like it was ready to fall apart. When our concerns were brought up to the desk clerk. Here response was "oh...

"Parking was very convenient and thr location was right across from the water and nearby many restaurants."

"This was advertised as "rustic" but was actually beyond rough. Dirty and in disrepair. Unsafe and unsanitary. Missing smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector. Dust and grime built up in the vents and windowsills. Black mold on the walls and ceilings. Messaged with the host ahead of time and was mislead on the state of this accomodation. Found it was totally uninhabitable. Took photos and reported to VRBO and was fully refunded by the platform based on those pics alone. "

"Had a wonderful fall weekend here! The place was so cozy inside! We loved sitting in the hot tub with the outside temperature so cold or just around the fire talking! The host was amazing This was probably my first rental with such an array of complimentary items! The bathroom was stocked with anything you could have forgotten and more(thankfully because I did forget something!) The coffee/k-cup/tea setup was great and loved the honey sticks! "

"Older cottage with lots of charm. Clean and close to plenty of places to eat, drink or shop. Friendly and attentive owners, called and emailed to check in and make sure our stay was perfect, which it was!"

"Entire place was clean, and the sheets/bedding didn’t smell weird as you might expect from a woodsy place. I picked this place because I’m not much of a tent or non-electric/bug-filled cabin type, and this was the perfect amount of rustic for us. The shower water pressure was good too!The owners were helpful and friendly when needed. They live next door. In the welcome book, they included directions to a secluded beach nearby that wasn’t on any GPS map I could find. It was a lovely small beach...
