"Staff excellent, management and security was poor to say the least! There was an incident where a person was allowed into the dining room whose behaviour was disturbing, schizophrenic like…perhaps on hard drugs… to the point my wife and daughter were fearful. We asked to be moved from our table to a more secure location in the dining room. Other patrons felt the same way. When we went to the front desk to ask to speak with the manager on duty, there was no one and no security in the building...

"Amazing for kids and families and great room choices with lots of beds."

"Pas mal"

"Bed was very comfortable, but our room hadn’t been renovated yet and needed it. The location was very convenient with many restaurants to choose from and a Metro stop just a few minutes walk. I would stay again!"

"The location couldn't have been better. Easily walkable to Old Montreal, Chinatown, Notre Dame and the river. The room was very run down, closet didn't have a door, walls had holes and were filthy, but otherwise the room seemed clean until we realized one of the towels had makeup all over it. It was apparent that housekeeping does the bare minimum. I stayed 3 nights and housekeeping never serviced the room. The window also only had a sheer, no curtain and faced the street so there was no privacy...

"very clean room, every staff member was very friendly and helpful, the restaurant's food was delicious and all the restaurant staff were very friendly. As soon as they realized that I did not speak French, they quickly switched to English."

"The property is a classic old hotel with beautiful decor. It is in a good location. Unfortunately it is very poorly run with staff who don’t know what they’re doing in all areas and no visible management to ensure standards are met"

"Very lovely hotel. They checked us in earlier than expected because we got there too early. We also needed a room upgrade and that was also seamless. Kudos to the staff, cleaners and everyone. We don’t speak French but they all could communicate in English. I highly recommend. Didn’t get their names, would have given them a thumbs up but kudos to all the staff."

"Staff was helpful, professional & friendly. Location is excellent. Hotel needs a refresh. A bit worn & shabby in places. No major complaints. Overall an OK 3 star hotel stay."

"The front desk staff and location were great, however, the condition of the room was poor. There were coffee stains on the cupboards, the full length mirror was full of dust and dirt, and the bed was full of dust. The walls are also thin and so you can hear your neighbour's conversations. The doorman on my first night was very rude and barked at me for using the wrong door - there were three and they weren't marked. This is hardly a 4 star hotel, marginally a 3 star one. I visit Montreal...

"Autant le service client que l’endroit est vraiment dégoûtant. Et que dire de l’odeur (on a dû acheter des sens bons chez Dollarama). En plus de tout ça le personnel a une attitude horrible envers les clients. Déplorable."
