"We recently stayed a night for a connecting flight and booked the hotel at the last minute. The rooms are quite dated and we found the beds to be really uncomfortable. We were hoping for a comfortable sleep before our long journey home but the beds were really hard and not at all comfy. The breakfast was lovely and had a good selection to set you up for the day."

I understand preserving the style, but refreshing or deep-cleaning certain areas would make it feel much cleaner without losing its character.
