"Loved the whole vibe of this place. Check in was easy and the room was clean and cozy. We were able to sit at the bar to enjoy some delicious cocktails. Parking in the lot was easy. Definitely road noise but slept just fine. We’ll be back! "

"Eagle tower is old and run down, stay at the other towers. Front desk is not as helpful when requesting for an extra day of stay. No effort done for help. The Island Bingo staff is great. There's no valet, although there are shuttles to help take you to the parking lot, it would have been better to have a valet. Bell desk is no help either."

"The hotel is clean, beautifully restored, and well appointed. The restaurants have great food. The included shops are interesting. And the staff is excellent. The location of the hotel between the river and the historic downtown area is awesome. For an easy getaway destination, Red Wing, MN and the St James Hotel are a perfect combination."

"The water park was closed for construction which we were unaware of. We chose to not stay there since that was why we made our reservations there. It was very difficult to get our money refunded. "
